DCSMEC OFFICER ELECTIONS:
DCSMEC had a very good Town Hall Meeting. I’d like to give special recognition to Marcus Braswell (our DCSMEC council), to Arthur Bowra for the delicious food, and President Howard Horne. It was a great evening! The DCSMEC Officer election is on October 9, 2025 from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm at the following locations:

Take a moment and VOTE for your favorite candidate. The polls are open from 7:00A.M. to 3:30PM. Only DCSMEC members are allowed to VOTE in the DCSMEC officer election!! DCSMEC elections are necessary to maintain a Strong Union. All the candidates are counting on your VOTE. Please take time to cast your VOTE on Thursday, October 9, 2025. We will provide the voting results in our DCSMEC website after the count is officially available. Remember, only DCSMEC members are allowed to Vote in a DCSMEC Officer election. If you’re not a member you will be turned away.
Note: Arthur Bowra (BA) and I agreed to keep our thoughts about the head of Union positions to ourselves. Arthur has expressed his desire to exercise his right to support all officers running for DCSMEC positions. Arthur has that right and he has my blessing and 100% backing. I will stay neutral as I originally stated. Good luck to all the applicants running for positions.
