DCSMEC NOTICE

Brothers & Sisters,

The General Membership Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 20th has been moved due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Please allow me to take this time to offer my sincerest gratitude for your service. On behalf of our Executive Board, I thank you for the outstanding example you have set.

As we near Thanksgiving and reflect on this past year, I would like to express how thankful I am to have each of you representing DCSMEC. You play an important role in the advancement of M-DCPS through your dedication and hard work. My role as your Representative would not be possible without a strong and reliable work force to assist the students of Miami-Dade County public schools during their time of need, and I appreciate the sacrifice and hard work you demonstrate. Your dedicated efforts reaffirm my belief that DCSMEC’s best day’s are ahead.

I hope you take this time to reflect on the important work you do for our students and staff. Take a moment to reflect and remember the lives you have positively impacted through your public service. Arthur and I extend our best wishes for your continued success and hope you have a most joyous thanksgiving holiday.

Dcsmec Notice

Brothers and Sisters,

The greatest investment in life is education. It prepares us for life and provides us with the tools for success. Teachers are essential for a successful society. They are the foundation and inspiration for our youth.

I’m proud to help support our educators. They make many sacrifices for our students and are usually not given the recognition that they deserve.

Please see this attachment regarding Amendment #362. I hope that you, your family, and friends support our educators on November 6, 2018.
